16:00 - 18:30 - Walking tour of the town
Walking tour will be beginning from the hotel "Pereslavl".

Earthen ramparts
They used to be a powerful fortification in 12th century. The citizens of ancient Pereslavl made this object by hand.

Red Square
The historical centre of the town is Red Square where the Cathedral of Transfiguration of the Saviour is situated. This is the most ancient existing  building in Central Russia and one of the pearls of the ingenious white-stone  Russian architecture.

Museum of irons
The unique collection of this original museum represents all life of irons from rubel (a wooden board with crosscut off grooves) and  beater to electric iron.

10:10 - 12:40 - Goritsky Monastery
Goritsky Monastery was founded in first half of the 14th century . Cloister was the  centre of eparchy about half of 18th century.
Now The History and Art Museum of Pereslavl is allocated on the Monastery's territory.

12:50 - 13:50 - Kettle Museum and Peter the Greate Botik Museum

Collections of kettles, teapots, samovars and Russian popular household goods of the 19–20th centuries are represented in the Kettle Museum.

The main exhibit of the the Great Botik Museum is a little boat ("botik" in Russian) "For-tune", left whole after the fire of 1783.

14:10 - 15:40 - The Museum of Steam Locomotives
Unique collection of railway vehicles of narrow gauge (steam locomotives, section car, trolleys of the 19-20th centuries) in Russia.
There is an open air lunch in our program (fried sausages, fruits and vegetables).

15:55- 16:15 - The Blue Stone
Legend says that the Blue Stone was used by pagans in sacrifices to the ancient sun god of Yarilo.

16:20 - 17:50 - St. Nikita's Monastery
St. Nikita's Monastery is the most ancient cloister(Monastery) of the Pereslavl The name of the first Pereslavsky sacred (saint), Nikitas Stolpnik, is connected with cloister. Now it is functioning monastery.

18:05 - 18:35 - St.Nikolas's Convent
St.Nikolas's Convent was founded in about 1350 by Saint Dmitry Prilutsky, disciple of Reverend Sergiy Radonezhsky. In monastery temples hallows of two Pereslavsky sacred - prince Andrey Smolensky and Saint Kornily Molchalnik are based. Now it is a functioning convent.
